Meet Mark Rhodes, Managing Director, Europe

This month we’re catching up with Mark Rhodes, Managing Director, Europe. Mark is one of the newest members of the ContractWorks CLM software team, and will be leading the efforts for the brand new office in London.

Getting to Know Mark

How long have you been at SecureDocs, Inc.*?

I joined SecureDocs, Inc. in January 2020 as Managing Director, Europe.

What were you doing prior to joining ContractWorks?

Most recently, I was Group Marketing Director for REED in the UK, which is the largest family-owned recruitment company in the world. 

I was a board member for eight years and, in that time, led consumer and B2B marketing for the digital business, reed.co.uk. That meant doing everything from lead generation to making TV commercials to publishing books.

My tenure at REED also included an interim period as Managing Director of reed.co.uk, as well as leadership positions across the digital business in Marketing, eCommerce and Product.

What do you love about what you do?

I’m really excited about my new role with ContractWorks, as I’ll be opening up a new physical office in London to service the UK and European markets. I’ll also be building a team and trying hard to ensure we carry over the fantastic culture and values that sit at the heart of the ContractWorks business in California - only with more rain.

Why do you think what you do is important to the overall goals of ContractWorks?

SecureDocs, Inc. already serves customers in 122 countries and opening an office in London demonstrates our commitment to building outstanding relationships with our customers in every region. Our products solve real challenges for businesses everywhere and having boots on the ground in Europe gives us a fantastic opportunity to grow.

What excites you most about the future of the company?

Even though the business was founded in 2012, it still has a really exciting feeling of ‘we’re just getting started’. We're already building really cool stuff in a fast-growing sector and it feels like there’s no end to how much potential there is for us to keep innovating and keep growing.

What is your favorite quote?

What are you doing when you’re not in the office?

Cycling, skiing, gardening, cheering for Southampton FC. Driving around in an old, rusty Mercedes, which I like to call a classic.

Any other fun facts or hidden talents?

I was the top performer in a team of teddy bear sellers in Australia.
