If your documents are stored within the repository, and you’ve recently upgraded to the new AI Contract Extract (or if you’re trying out the new Contract Extract and would like to re-test the AI on a document), here’s how to apply the AI tag extract function to your documents:
Within the contract repository, go to the document Actions menu. There, you’ll see the new Reprocess AI option.
Once you click on that option, you’ll see a menu alerting you to the fact that the AI-generated tags will be re-extracted with updated values.
Additionally, the system will let you know the details of the AI-generated tags that were extracted and manually edited. Those will be overwritten when the AI reprocesses the document.
Click Confirm to reprocess the document or Cancel to back out.
The system will extract AI tag data. You’ll see an alert noting that the Processing time varies with document size.
Once completed, the Tags icon will change from green to the purple AI Converted icon. Mouse over the icon to see a list of the extracted tags.
Click on the linked document under the Name column to open that document.
Within the document, click the Edit Tags button to view all the tags the AI extracted. There, you can add additional information, apply tag templates, enable notifications, and enable recurrences.
Click Remove All Tags to remove those tags or Save to save your changes.
Note that if you make manual changes within the tag details or apply a tag template, the tag icon goes from purple to green within the system.
NOTE: If the AI is unable to extract any tag information from the document, the tag icon will remain idle and gray.
