Summary:
All ContractWorks roles will initially have two-factor authentication enabled as an additional layer of security on the account. You can, however, pause this function or turn it off if you would like for individual users or roles. Only administrators can enable, or disable this option. If you are not an administrator, please contact your administrator (the person who invited you into the account) for your company’s policy regarding disabling two-factor authentication.
Instructions:
Step 1: Go to Users > Users.
Step 2: You can see who has two-factor authentication turned on, or off, in the account.
Step 3: If you would like to only pause this feature for a certain amount of time, click on the Actions button for your desired user and select Pause Two-Factor option next to any users that have two-factor authentication enabled. You will then have 5 options to pause the two-factor for specific amounts of time. After this time is up, two-factor will automatically be re-enabled.
Step 4: If you would like to turn off two-factor authentication entirely, click into the user you would like to turn it off for.
Step 5: You can edit several settings at this stage, including disabling, or enabling, the option for two-factor. Uncheck the Require two-factor authentication for this user. Once selected, click 'Update'.
Step 6: The user will now see that two-factor authentication is disabled next time they log into the account.
